Lost In Translation?

Not knowing the languageis not be that much fun unless they call you Bill Murray. That place can be a foreign land, an unknown suburb, or sometimes even your own apartment when a new lawn or cleaning crew arrives.

What does one do when you come across someone who did not study English at school? You can attempt using your arms to state your position on each issue. But countries are not always similar, situations differ and so even very expressive gestures do not always help. If you are a fast reader you can buy yourself a mini-dictionary for situations of the kind. It might be burdensome if you are not that prompt. Why not trust the technology in this case? Like acquiring an electronic Spanish translator. A seemingly impossible task of interacting in a language unfamiliar to you might be doable with the help of a palm sized electronic device!
